This initial engagement culminates in a detailed search plan and a comprehensive job description.

Market Mapping & Landscape Review

Next, we conduct a broad, strategic review of the role, sector, and broader talent landscape. This involves identifying organizations that employ individuals with your required skills and experience, including direct competitors, companies in adjacent sectors, and those renowned for developing top talent. This phase yields a long list of potential candidates and/or candidate sources, and allows for the refinement of the position description, if necessary.

Developing a Short List of Candidates 

We tap into our established and ever-growing network, cultivated through years of experience working in the climate and resilience field. This often includes passive candidates who are not actively on the market. Coupled with strategic research, referral generation, and our proprietary database, we identify a short list of candidates for initial screening. This phase also produces interview questions and, if applicable, a job advertising plan.

Interviews and Assessment

Using an agreed-upon approach, we initiate and schedule interviews with selected candidates. A comprehensive write-up and evaluation for each will be provided to determine which candidates proceed to additional interviews directly with your client team.

Finalizing Offers

We provide crucial guidance on salary expectations and other conditions to facilitate a successful offer acceptance. We also handle the sensitive task of providing direct, relationship-preserving feedback to unselected candidates, safeguarding your firm's reputation.
